Most importantly, we genuinely care about the children in our setting and are passionate about giving them the best possible start. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident and happy, and we’re looking to add someone to our team that shares the same values.
We are currently seeking a team member to join us for 4 days per week during term time. The initial hours are set as follows:
- Monday 8.20-3.30PM, Tuesday-Thursday: 8:40 AM – 3:30 PM
There is some flexibility in hours for the right candidate, with additional hours possible later in the academic year, so please talk to us if you are interested.
Key Requirements:
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
- A Paediatric First Aid qualification (preferable)
- Willingness to have an enhanced DBS check and proof of the right to work in the UK
- Two referees to provide references (current employer and/or previous education or childcare)
Role Responsibilities:
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Planning, working with, and supporting key children
- Excellent communication skills, including GCSE English (or equivalent)
- A commitment to ensuring the safeguarding, safety and well-being of children at all times
